Family
Families are Important
The family is the nucleus and fundamental unit within society that has a vital role in the shaping an individual’s values, habits, identity, purpose, and patterns of conduct. It is in this environment that the essential qualities and abilities needed for the building of a caring, harmonious, and progressive society are nurtured and developed.
The Role of Community
It is also crucial that the community and institutions aid with the responsibility of raising children who can assume responsibility for both their spiritual growth and to be able to be an effective contributor to the advancement of society.
Children's Classes
Children's Classes
Children’s classes tend to the developmental needs of children in a neighbourhood. The classes serve as a form of spiritual, intellectual, and moral education. They differ fundamentally from the imposition of dogmatic beliefs sometimes associated with religious instruction. Instead, they aim to foster a love for knowledge, an open attitude towards learning, and a desire to investigate reality.
Open and Inclusive
These children’s classes welcome children of all backgrounds and faiths. The program is designed to foster an environment of mutual respect and understanding.
Interactive Learning
The program emphasizes interactive and participatory learning. Class activities include storytelling, songs, arts and crafts, drama, and games. They help the children to reinforce the spiritual concepts being taught and to apply them in their daily lives.
Regular
Classes are held typically on a weekly basis. This regularity helps set up a routine for the children and makes it easier for families to take part.
Parental Involvement
Classes often involve parents and other community members, fostering a supportive environment for the children. This parental and community involvement helps to reinforce the values taught in class in the home environment and builds a strong sense of belonging.
Curriculum and Themes
The curriculum is consistent and aims to enable parents and the community in such an endeavour, in conducting Children’s Classes, that tend to the developmental needs of the children in a neighbourhood. The classes serve as a form of spiritual, intellectual, and moral education, that is shaped around the conception that sees the nobility, dignity and inherent worth of every individual.
